When you are an esthetician student at ESI, you go through a series of levels. Each level requires more advanced skill, technique, and knowledge than the previous level. Level 1 is where every student starts. At this level you learn your basic facial procedures, your tinting, and your waxing. At this level you will also learn to perform a skin analysis in addition to the services. A skin analysis includes looking at the clients skin and examining their skin type, problems, and recommending what products would be he most appropriate for their skin.
At this level you will also learn to preform hand and foot treatments as short add ons to to longer treatments. Hand and foot treatments are usually performed in between steps during a facial. For example, when a client has a mask that needs sit for 10-15 minutes, hand and foot treatments are a great way to make the time pass.
