Ghoulish tips for Halloween Makeup

For Halloween parties, trick-or-treating, or just plain fun

Here are some tips from our own Cheryl Wynn, our outstanding esthetic instructor, and guest blogger, Araneetae Guy, a brilliant and bedazzling Make Up Artist.
Here are some great tips for a spooky face from Cheryl Wynn
To create a gory look you can use a blood spray or blood gel.
You can do clown white by Ben nye to create the vampire white face or even the geisha  look.
Stencils are great... Like the cat stencils or fairy. They are easy to create, hold stencil to face trace with a kohl liner then color in or spray in using air brush.
All of these looks can always have a hint of beauty as u will see in the photo to the left.

1- Add a smokey cheek with the perfect grey brushed under your cheekbone
2- play with hair chalk to ensure a morbid color addition to your look
3- line your lips with a black eyeliner and top with a shiny red lipstick or fuchsia gloss
4-Bring back that Red lip that Morticia Addams (of the 1960s film The Addams Family) wore so well and don’t forget lots of highlighter
5- go red & use red shadows around the eyes to give a tired look. Couple this with a nude face & lip for that ultra sick trick or treat face

Araneetae is perhaps best known for her magnificent eye makeup, here are so tips from the pro.

 Tools:
red tone blush, purple lipstick, eyeliner, glitter liner, clear lipgloss
1- add red & purple shadow under your black shadow for a quick scare
2- use black pencil to fill your brows and extend them out past the natural line (think Lily Munster) 3- use eyeliner to draw a cob web onto your eyelid: use vertical lash strokes then connect with thin “U” shapes
4- Add a few rhinestones to your cobweb design and you’ve added a glamorous dimension
